Description

Delightful bite-sized appetizers featuring creamy Brie and sweet-tart cranberry sauce wrapped in flaky puff pastry, perfect for any gathering.


Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry (thawed, about 8 oz)
  • 8 oz Brie cheese (cut into small cubes)
  • ½ cup cranberry sauce (homemade or canned whole-berry)
  • 1 tablespoon honey (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh rosemary (or ½ teaspoon dried)
  • 1 egg (beaten for egg wash)
  • 1 tablespoon chopped pecans or walnuts (optional, for topping)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a mini muffin pan.
  2. Unfold the thawed puff pastry sheet on a floured surface.
  3. Cut into 24 small squares using a knife or pizza cutter.
  4. Press one pastry square into each mini muffin cup.
  5. Add a cube of Brie in the center of each.
  6. Spoon about ½ teaspoon of cranberry sauce on top of each piece of Brie.
  7. Drizzle with a touch of honey if desired.
  8. Sprinkle rosemary and nuts over each bite.
  9. Brush the pastry edges lightly with egg wash.
  10. Bake for 13–15 minutes, or until the pastry is golden and puffed.
  11. Let cool for a few minutes before serving. These are best enjoyed warm or at room temperature.
