  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Combine flour, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.
  2. Pour boiling water into the flour mixture gradually, stirring until combined.
  3. Fold in chopped green onions until evenly distributed.
  4. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth.
  5. Cover the dough with a damp cloth and let it rest for 15 minutes.
  6. Simmer vegetable broth in a large pot over medium heat.
  7. Add diced carrots, peas, and potatoes to the broth.
  8. Stir in garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  9. Bring the mixture to a boil, then lower to a simmer.
  10. Form small dumplings by hand or with a biscuit cutter.
  11. Drop the dumplings gently into the simmering broth.
  12. Cover the pot and let the dumplings cook for 15 minutes until they rise.
