Description

Delicious Feta and Spinach Tartlets that blend flaky pastry with creamy feta and fresh spinach, perfect for appetizers or gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 sheet of puff pastry
  • 200g feta cheese, crumbled
  • 200g fresh spinach, chopped
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil, for brushing
  • Optional: fresh herbs (like dill or parsley) for garnish


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry and cut it into circles to fit into a muffin tin.
  3. Mix in a bowl the crumbled feta, chopped spinach, egg, milk, salt, and pepper.
  4. Place the pastry circles in the muffin tin and fill each with the spinach and feta mixture.
  5. Brush the edges of the pastry with olive oil.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Let cool slightly and garnish with fresh herbs if desired before serving.

Notes

For a twist, experiment with herbs like oregano or thyme in the filling. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
