- 1 sheet of puff pastry
- 200g feta cheese, crumbled
- 200g fresh spinach, chopped
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup milk
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil, for brushing
- Optional: fresh herbs (like dill or parsley) for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Roll out the puff pastry and cut it into circles to fit into a muffin tin.
- Mix in a bowl the crumbled feta, chopped spinach, egg, milk, salt, and pepper.
- Place the pastry circles in the muffin tin and fill each with the spinach and feta mixture.
- Brush the edges of the pastry with olive oil.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly and garnish with fresh herbs if desired before serving.
Notes
For a twist, experiment with herbs like oregano or thyme in the filling. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
