Ingredients

  • 1 lb fish fillets (such as cod or tilapia)
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Corn tortillas
  • 1/2 cup shredded cabbage
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
  • For the fish taco sauce:
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • 1 tsp hot sauce


Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill or pan over medium-high heat.
  2. Season the fish fillets with chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Grill or cook the fish for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until cooked through and flaky.
  4. Mix the sour cream, lime juice, and hot sauce in a small bowl to make the sauce.
  5. Warm the corn tortillas on the grill or in a hot pan.
  6. Assemble the tacos by placing the fish on the tortilla, then topping with shredded cabbage, avocado slices, cilantro, and a drizzle of fish taco sauce.
