Description

A delightful seafood dish featuring fresh oysters grilled with a luscious garlic herb butter that enhances their briny flavor.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 dozen oysters
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Combine butter, garlic, parsley, thyme, lemon juice, salt, and pepper in a small bowl.
  3. Shuck the oysters and place them on the grill, opening side up.
  4. Spoon a small amount of the garlic herb butter mixture onto each oyster.
  5. Close the grill lid and cook for about 5-6 minutes, or until the oysters are cooked through and the edges begin to curl.
  6. Remove from the grill and serve immediately with lemon wedges.

Notes

Always use fresh herbs for maximum flavor and check for doneness to avoid overcooking the oysters.
