- 8 slices bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled
- 2/3 cup brown sugar, light or dark
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Cook bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crisp. Drain on paper towels, then crumble and set aside.
- Prepare sauce by whisking together melted butter, brown sugar, soy sauce, garlic powder, and pepper until smooth.
- Assemble the dish by placing drained green beans in the prepared baking dish.
- Pour the sauce mixture evenly over the top and toss to coat.
- Sprinkle with the crumbled bacon.
- Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes, or until the sauce is bubbly and slightly thickened.
