Ingredients

  • 4 halibut fillets (6 oz each)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper (to taste)
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice (fresh)
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 1 tbsp parsley (chopped)


Instructions

  1. Pat halibut dry and season both sides.
  2. Heat oil and sear fish 3-4 minutes per side.
  3. Remove fish and prepare butter sauce in the same pan.
  4. Add garlic, lemon juice, and zest.
  5. Return fish briefly and spoon sauce over before serving.
