Description

These vibrant layered Jell-O shots offer a burst of nostalgia and delight, perfect for summer celebrations and patriotic holidays.


Ingredients

  • 1 box of red Jell-O (strawberry or cherry flavor)
  • 1 box of blue Jell-O (blue raspberry or berry flavor)
  • 1 box of unflavored gelatin
  • 1 cup of boiling water
  • 1 cup of cold water
  • 1 cup of vodka (optional)
  • Whipped cream for topping


Instructions

  1. Prepare the red Jell-O according to package instructions, substituting 1 cup of cold water with vodka if desired. Pour into small cups and refrigerate until set, about 120 minutes.
  2. Once set, prepare the unflavored gelatin according to package instructions, using 1/2 cup boiling water and 1/2 cup cold water. Pour a layer over the red Jell-O and refrigerate until set, about 60 minutes.
  3. Prepare the blue Jell-O in the same manner as the red Jell-O. Pour it over the set unflavored gelatin layer and refrigerate until fully set.
  4. Once all layers are set, top each shot with whipped cream before serving.
