Description

Delicious and cheesy mashed potato puffs that are perfect for parties and game days.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups mashed potatoes
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying


Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the mashed potatoes, shredded cheese, flour, green onions, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Mix until well combined and the mixture is smooth.
  3. Heat oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat.
  4. Using a spoon or your hands, form small balls of the potato mixture and carefully drop them into the hot oil.
  5. Fry until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes, turning occasionally.
  6. Remove from oil and drain on paper towels.
  7. Serve warm and enjoy!
