- 1 pound octopus, cleaned and sliced
- 1/2 cup lime juice
- 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- 1-2 chiles, finely chopped (to taste)
- Salt to taste
- Tortillas or tortilla chips for serving
Instructions
- Boil the octopus in a pot of salted water for about 30-40 minutes, or until tender. Drain and let cool.
- Once cooled, cut the octopus into bite-sized pieces.
- In a bowl, combine the octopus, lime juice, red onion, cilantro, chiles, and salt. Mix well.
- Let the mixture marinate for about 15-30 minutes in the refrigerator.
- Serve chilled with tortillas or tortilla chips.
