Description

Delicious and flaky cruffins filled with sweet peach pie filling.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups fresh peaches, diced
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 egg, for egg wash


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add the melted butter, milk, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients and mix until combined.
  4. In another bowl, combine the diced peaches, cornstarch, and cinnamon.
  5. Roll out the dough and cut it into rectangles.
  6. Place a spoonful of the peach mixture on one end of each rectangle and roll it up to form a cruffin.
  7. Place the cruffins in a muffin tin and brush with egg wash.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Let cool before serving.
