Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a muffin tin and set it aside.
  3. Melt the butter and mix it with the brown sugar in a bowl.

  5. Arrange the sliced peaches on top of the butter mixture in each cup.
  6. Whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl.
  7. Combine the granulated sugar, buttermilk, vanilla extract, and egg in another bowl.
  8. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
  9. Pour the batter evenly over the peaches in each muffin tin cup.
