  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a muffin pan with cooking spray or line with paper liners.
  3. Mash the ripe bananas in a bowl until smooth.
  4. Mix the peanut butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract in a separate large bowl. Stir until well combined.
  5. Add the mashed bananas to the peanut butter mixture and mix until incorporated.
  6. Sift together the baking soda, flour, and salt in another bowl.
  7. Gradually incorporate the dry mixture into the wet mixture, stirring just until combined.
  8. Spoon the batter into the prepared muffin pan, filling each cup about two-thirds full.
  9. Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  10. Allow the muffins to cool in the pan for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
