Ingredients

- 1 can (15 oz) chickpeas, drained and rinsed
- 1/4 cup tahini
- 1/4 cup fresh basil pesto
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 garlic clove
- Salt to taste
- Water as needed
Instructions
- Combine in a food processor chickpeas, tahini, pesto, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, and salt.
- Blend until smooth.
- Add water a tablespoon at a time if the hummus is too thick until the desired consistency is reached.
- Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to serve.
Notes
For a creamier texture, don’t hesitate to add more water as needed. Garnish with olive oil or fresh herbs for a beautiful presentation.
