Description

A vibrant and zesty green sauce made from fresh tomatillos, jalapeños, and cilantro, perfect for dipping or enhancing your favorite dishes.


Ingredients

  • 5 tomatillos, husked and rinsed
  • 2 jalapeños, roasted
  • 1 medium onion, roasted
  • 1/2 cup fresh cilantro
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • Juice of 1 lime


Instructions

  1. Husk and rinse tomatillos.
  2. Roast jalapeños, tomatillos, and onion under the broiler until charred.
  3. Let cool and then chop.
  4. In a blender, combine roasted ingredients, cilantro, garlic, and lime juice.
  5. Blend until smooth or desired consistency is reached.
  6. Taste and adjust seasoning as necessary.
