Description

A quick and flavorful dish featuring succulent shrimp sautéed in a buttery garlic sauce with a splash of white wine.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup dry white wine
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (optional for topping)


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Combine shrimp, melted butter, garlic, white wine, lemon juice, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper in a large bowl. Toss to coat.
  3. Spread the shrimp mixture in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  4. Sprinkle breadcrumbs evenly over the shrimp if using.
  5. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until shrimp are cooked through and pink.
  6. Remove from the oven, sprinkle with fresh parsley, and serve immediately.

Notes

Serve with crusty bread to soak up the buttery garlic sauce. Can be made stovetop as well.
