- 2 lbs Skirt Steak
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp lime juice
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Prepare your marinade by whisking together olive oil, minced garlic, soy sauce, lime juice, ground cumin, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Place the Skirt Steak in a large resealable plastic bag and pour the marinade over it.
- Seal the bag, ensuring the steak is well coated with the marinade.
- Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or overnight for maximum flavor.
- Preheat your grill to high heat.
- Remove the steak from the marinade and let it sit at room temperature for about 10 minutes before grilling.
- Place the Skirt Steak on the grill and cook for 3-4 minutes on the first side, until a nice crust forms.
- Flip the steak and continue cooking for another 3-4 minutes for medium-rare.
- Remove from the grill and cover loosely with foil. Let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
- Slice against the grain into thin strips to enhance tenderness.
