Description

A flavorful and tender Skirt Steak marinated and grilled to perfection, perfect for family gatherings and quick weeknight dinners.


Ingredients

  • 2 lbs Skirt Steak
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp lime juice
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste


Instructions

  1. Prepare your marinade by whisking together olive oil, minced garlic, soy sauce, lime juice, ground cumin, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  2. Place the Skirt Steak in a large resealable plastic bag and pour the marinade over it.
  3. Seal the bag, ensuring the steak is well coated with the marinade.
  4. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or overnight for maximum flavor.
  5. Preheat your grill to high heat.
  6. Remove the steak from the marinade and let it sit at room temperature for about 10 minutes before grilling.
  7. Place the Skirt Steak on the grill and cook for 3-4 minutes on the first side, until a nice crust forms.
  8. Flip the steak and continue cooking for another 3-4 minutes for medium-rare.
  9. Remove from the grill and cover loosely with foil. Let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
  10. Slice against the grain into thin strips to enhance tenderness.

For best flavor, marinate the steak overnight. Always slice against the grain for maximum tenderness.
