Description

A flavorful twist on your favorite burger recipe, combining the deliciousness of smashburgers with the convenience of quesadillas.


Ingredients

  • 2 large flour tortillas
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup diced onions
  • 1/2 cup sliced pickles
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, place one tortilla and sprinkle half of the cheese on top.
  4. Add the cooked beef, onions, and pickles on top of the cheese.
  5. Spread the mayonnaise and mustard over the beef mixture.
  6. Top with the remaining cheese and place the second tortilla on top.
  7. Cook until the bottom tortilla is golden brown, then carefully flip to cook the other side until golden and the cheese is melted.
  8. Remove from heat, slice into wedges, and serve hot.
