- 1 cup raisins
- 2 tbsp butter
Instructions
- Mix sourdough starter, water, and sugar in a bowl.
- Gradually add flour, salt, and cinnamon until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough for 10 minutes until smooth.
- Incorporate the raisins into the dough.
- Let the dough rise in a warm place until doubled in size, about 60 minutes.
- Punch down the dough, shape it into a loaf, and place it in a greased loaf pan.
- Cover and let it rise again for about 45 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
- Prepare cinnamon butter by mixing butter with sugar and cinnamon. Spread on warm bread.
