Description

Delightful meringue bites topped with creamy cardamom and fresh strawberries, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 4 egg whites
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon white vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cardamom
  • 1 cup strawberries, sliced


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 250°F (120°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Whip the egg whites in a clean bowl until soft peaks form. Gradually add the sugar, continuing to whip until stiff peaks form.
  3. Mix in the vanilla extract, vinegar, and cornstarch.
  4. Spoon the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet in small rounds.
  5. Bake for about 90 minutes until crisp and dry. Turn off the oven and let the meringues cool completely.
  6. Whip the heavy cream in a separate bowl with ground cardamom until soft peaks form.
  7. Assemble by topping the meringues with cardamom cream and strawberries. Serve immediately.

Notes

For best results, whip fresh cream for each serving and store leftover meringues in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
