- 1 package of ladyfingers
- 2 cups of heavy whipping cream
- 1 cup of mascarpone cheese
- 1/2 cup of powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 2 cups of fresh strawberries, sliced
- 1/2 cup of brewed coffee or espresso (optional)
- Cocoa powder for dusting (optional)
Instructions
- Whip the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract in a mixing bowl until soft peaks form.
- Fold in the mascarpone cheese gently until combined.
- Dip each ladyfinger into the coffee briefly if using, then layer them at the bottom of a dish.
- Spread a layer of the whipped cream mixture over the ladyfingers.
- Add a layer of sliced strawberries on top of the cream.
- Repeat the layers until the dish is filled, finishing with a layer of cream.
- Refrigerate for at least 240 minutes or overnight to set.
- Dust with cocoa powder before serving, if desired.
