Description

Ingredients

  • Poblano peppers

  • Eggs
  • Flour
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Tomato sauce (optional)

Instructions

  1. Roast the poblano peppers over an open flame or in the oven until charred.
  2. Place them in a plastic bag to steam for about 10 minutes, then peel off the charred skin.
  3. Make a slit in each pepper and remove the seeds.
  4. Stuff the peppers with cheese.
  5. In a bowl, beat the eggs until fluffy.
  6. Dip the stuffed peppers into flour, then into the beaten eggs.
  7. Heat oil in a pan and fry the peppers until golden brown on all sides.
