A comforting and shareable dish that brings the flavors of traditional sushi into a warm, baked casserole.

- 4 cups cooked sushi rice
- 2 cups imitation crab, chopped
- 1/2 cup Kewpie mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup furikake seasoning
- Optional garnishes: nori sheets, green onions, avocado slices
Instructions
- Prepare sushi rice by rinsing it until the water is clear. Cook according to instructions.
- Mix warm rice with rice vinegar, sugar, and salt; let cool.
- Combine imitation crab with Kewpie mayonnaise and Sriracha in a bowl.
- Preheat oven to 450°F.
- Brush a baking dish with oil and layer sushi rice evenly.
- Sprinkle half of the furikake over the rice.
- Spread imitation crab mixture on top and finish with remaining furikake.
- Bake for about 15 minutes until golden brown.
- Garnish with green onions and avocado if desired before serving.
Notes
Use quality ingredients for the best flavor and don’t skip cooling the rice before assembling.
