- 2 lbs beef steak (round or chuck)
- 1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 2 carrots, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil (optional for browning steak)
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and brown the beef steak on both sides for enhanced flavor.
- Transfer the browned steak to the Crockpot.
- Scatter the sliced onion, bell pepper, carrots, and minced garlic over the beef.
- Pour the diced tomatoes and beef broth over the top.
- Add Worcestershire sauce and season with salt and pepper.
- Cover and cook on low for 360-480 minutes or until the beef is tender.
- Serve with rice or mashed potatoes for a complete meal.
