Description

Enjoy a healthier twist on traditional fries with these crispy air-fried zucchini fries, perfect for snacking or as a side dish.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 medium zucchinis
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (optional: panko for extra crunch)
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 egg
  • Cooking spray or oil for frying
  • Dipping sauces (marinara, ranch, or aioli)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Cut the zucchinis into fry shapes.
  3. Beat the egg in a bowl. In another bowl, mix the breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Dip each zucchini fry first in the egg and then coat it with the breadcrumb mixture.
  5. Arrange the coated zucchini fries in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Spray lightly with cooking spray.
  6. Air fry for about 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
  7. Serve immediately with your choice of dipping sauce.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
