I’m Constance J. Dasher—a writer with a BA in Creative Writing from the University of Iowa, a self-taught home cook, and someone who believes that a good recipe is as much about the story as it is about the ingredients. My love affair with the kitchen began in my teens, scribbling cookie recipes on the back of my journal pages, then turning those notes into sweet, buttery reality.

After years of writing fiction and lifestyle pieces, I realized my most engaging stories always seemed to involve food—how it was made, who it was shared with, and the small, unspoken moments it created. That led me to combine my two passions: writing and cooking.
