Description

A quick and easy Italian pasta dish made with garlic, olive oil, and chili flakes that’s perfect for weeknights.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 400g spaghetti
  • 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
  • 100ml extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped
  • Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)


Instructions

  1. Boil water in a large pot and add salt.
  2. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente.
  3. Heat the olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
  4. Add garlic and red pepper flakes, and sauté until garlic is golden.
  5. Drain the spaghetti, reserving a cup of pasta water.
  6. Toss the spaghetti in the garlic oil, adding pasta water as needed.
  7. Garnish with parsley and Parmesan cheese if desired.
  8. Serve immediately.
