Classic Spaghetti Aglio e Olio

Description
A quick and easy Italian pasta dish made with garlic, olive oil, and chili flakes that’s perfect for weeknights.
Ingredients

- 400g spaghetti
- 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 100ml extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- Salt to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions
- Boil water in a large pot and add salt.
- Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente.
- Heat the olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add garlic and red pepper flakes, and sauté until garlic is golden.
- Drain the spaghetti, reserving a cup of pasta water.
- Toss the spaghetti in the garlic oil, adding pasta water as needed.
- Garnish with parsley and Parmesan cheese if desired.
- Serve immediately.

Feel free to adjust the amount of red pepper flakes to suit your spice preference.
